Noroton Bay

The first of many projects with this client, this award-winning home was inspired by the rustic barns and coastal cottages throughout Connecticut. The addition of reclaimed wood, shiplap, and industrial touches of metal throughout make this house a stunner. Shelter took the original plans, went back to the drawing board, redrew the floor plans, and created a much more cohesive and practical home to live in. The small blueprint was a challenge and storage was at a premium so every inch of the home was utilized to its fullest potential. The result was one of our most talked about and widely published projects to date.
